Although the article linked below is for an article about EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) one of the processes I use with clients also uses eye movements, namely IEMT – Integral Eye Movement Therapy. However within IEMT are lots of other processes embedded within where we look at the two sides of who we are. Namely, how did I learn to feel this way? And how did I learn to be this way? We feel this is a much more holistic approach, looking at both experiential and behavioural traits and habits we all carry with us. Nonetheless it’s good to see articles discussing the efficacy of eye movement therapy for traumatic past events.
