I visited Robert to help reduce my anxiety that had progressively worsened over the space of a few months. I didn’t want to use tablets prescribed by the Doctor and the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that I had tried the year before failed to work for me.
From day one Robert made me feel very comfortable, he was easy to talk to and very understanding. Robert used several techniques to help me identify reasons behind my anxiety and why it was triggered.
This involved reducing the intensity of thoughts and feelings I had built up in my mind from past experiences. We used techniques to generate positive emotions (NLP), a technique known as tapping (EFT) and eye movement therapy (IEMT) to help ease the anxiety I had about flying.
These techniques helped me to understand and control my anxiety in new ways, without resorting to the use of tablets.
